Aesthetic Challenges of Sonified Video Gestures

Abstract


This commentary responds to Jensenius and Godøy’s paper, “Sonifying the shape of human body motion using motiongrams.” Here I outline key aesthetic challenges to be addressed in future research in the sonification of video and gesture.
